As you might well imagine, the Khmer (Cambodian) culture is quite different from Western culture. And culture is important to the Khmer people. Along with that, thought processes and priorities are different. So, to connect well with Khmer men who would be pastors, and Khmer people who would be church leaders, as well as Khmer believers in general, we need theological curricula sensitive to the Khmer way of living and learning. Thus, our intent is to teach Reformed theology that’s, of course, true to God’s Word, yet considerate of Khmer learning and thinking. Curricula for such theology must be developed.
